At the head of the south bay
Vasiliki sits at the head of a long bay on the south coast of Lefkada, roughly forty minutes by car from Lefkada town along the spine of the island. As the second largest resort on Lefkada it is well served by road and has the most facilities of any beach village in the south, so a car or scooter arrives easily and there is parking around the village and along the bay.
The best move for a couple is to use the harbour. Small boats run in summer to the secluded cove at Agiofili just around the coast and on to Porto Katsiki, which is the scenic way to reach those beaches without the long cliff staircase. Bring reef shoes for the pebble, sun cover, and a layer for the breezy afternoon on the water.
