Super Paradise earns its name on looks. It is a deep, dramatic cove on the south coast, framed by rocky slopes and filled with some of the clearest, brightest water on this side of the island. Even on a party day it is one of the better looking beaches on Mykonos.
The scene here is split. JackieO Beach brings a glamorous pool and party energy to one side, while the Super Paradise Beach Club drives the daybed and music crowd. Between and beyond them the cove keeps quieter ends where you can swim and lay a towel away from the speakers. The beach has a long history as one of the most open and inclusive on the island, and that easy, mixed atmosphere is still part of its charm.
It sits a notch up from Paradise in our book. You get a similar day to night party option but in a more scenic setting, with water clear enough to make the swim worth it on its own. Arrive earlier in the day and you can have the best of both, a proper swim before the volume climbs.
Who it suits: travellers who want the party without giving up scenery, couples and groups who like an open, friendly crowd, and anyone who values clear deep water over a shallow paddle.
Who should skip it: families with small children who need shallow calm water, and anyone wanting a silent cove, should look to Ornos for calm or Fokos for solitude.

Super Paradise Beach questions
Is Super Paradise a party beach?
Yes, but a scenic one. The cove has a strong club scene with JackieO Beach and the Super Paradise Beach Club, yet it keeps quieter ends for swimming and is set in one of the most dramatic coves on the south coast.
Is the water clear at Super Paradise?
Yes. Super Paradise has some of the clearest and deepest water on the south coast, which is part of why it stands out from the shallower family bays. The swimming is genuinely good when you step away from the busiest stretch.
Is Super Paradise an LGBTQ beach?
It has a long history as one of the most open and inclusive beaches on Mykonos, and that welcoming, mixed atmosphere remains part of its character today, alongside its wider party and beach scene.
How do you get to Super Paradise Beach?
It is a short drive east of Paradise with buses and a car park, and the south coast taxi boats from Platis Gialos call here in season. The road down is steep, so the bus or boat is the easiest way to arrive.
Is Super Paradise better than Paradise?
For scenery and water, many prefer Super Paradise, which sits in a more dramatic cove with clearer, deeper water. Paradise has the bigger, more backpacker driven day party. Your choice depends on whether you want looks or volume.
