Ploce is not really a beach, and it is better to know that going in. About nine kilometres west of Budva on the wild rocks of Cape Platamuni, it is a day club built into the cliffs, a stack of stone terraces and concrete platforms with four saltwater pools cut into the decks. People come for the pools, the music and the deep clear water off the rocks, not for sand between their toes.
For anyone who likes getting in the water it is genuinely good. The sea off the platforms drops away deep and clear, so you can snorkel and free dive straight off the rocks, and the outer terraces stay calmer while the central pools and DJ booths run the party. There is a shallow supervised pool for children and a separate party pool for the adults, plus a restaurant, bars and the full day club apparatus.
The honest read is that this is a scene, and a paid one. Loungers are hired by the set, reported around fifteen euro for two though prices change and are to be confirmed, the music gets loud and the foam parties are not for everyone. Reach it by car, taxi or a boat from the Budva waterfront. Come for the pools and the snorkelling on a calm morning, before the party builds, and Ploce is a brilliant active day. Arrive expecting a quiet natural cove and you will be in the wrong place.
Ploce is itself the club here, a pool and party venue on the rocks, so the named club below is the place you are standing on.
The venue is the draw, a day club of saltwater pools, stone terraces, a restaurant and DJ booths on Cape Platamuni. Sunbed sets are paid and prices, hours and any reservations are to be confirmed.
Back toward Budva, Kamenovo Beach Club offers a similar lively scene on a sandier bay, a good alternative if you want music and watersports without the cliffside platforms. See it in our directory.
Ploce sits about nine kilometres west of Budva on Cape Platamuni, reached by car or taxi, roughly twelve euro, with free parking behind, or by a small boat from the Budva waterfront for a few euro. The approach is a turn off the main coastal road down toward the rocks. Conditions are typical and never guaranteed.
Bring water shoes and a snorkel to make the most of the deep clear water off the platforms, and pick a calm morning if you want the swimming and the pools before the party scene takes over. Watch children closely near the deep edges and the pools.

Entry is by hiring a sunbed set, reported at around fifteen euro for two with an umbrella, though prices change through the season and are to be confirmed. There are also paid showers and free parking, plus a restaurant and bars on the terraces.
Yes. The water off the platforms is deep, clean and very clear, so you can snorkel and free dive straight off the rocks. The outer terraces are the calmer spots for it, away from the central party pool and the DJ booths, and a morning visit is the quietest.
Ploce is about nine kilometres west of Budva. You can drive or take a taxi, roughly twelve euro, with free parking behind the club, or catch a small boat from the Budva waterfront for a few euro, which is a scenic way to arrive along the coast.
It can be, with a shallow supervised kids pool and clear water, but it is primarily a lively music driven day club with a separate party pool and foam parties in peak season. Families tend to prefer the mornings and the outer terraces, away from the loudest of the scene.
