The Best White Sand Beaches in Krabi

Krabi is the Thailand of the postcards, the one with the limestone cliffs rising sheer from jade water and the powder white sand at their feet, and the good news is that the whitest sand really is as good as the pictures promise. Bamboo Island, a speck of fine white sand and shallow turquoise water off Phi Phi, and Poda Island, with its postcard karst rising offshore, are the pick for a day trip, both inside the national parks with a small entry fee. On the mainland, Tubkaak trades the crowds for a quiet, upscale white and golden strand facing the Hong islands.
