Facts checked against the club’s own site to our editorial standards by Morten Andersen

Where Perivolos runs into Agios Georgios, the sunbed rows suddenly acquire cushions, the umbrellas turn architectural, and a waiter appears with a wine list. That is Seaside by Notos, the club that treats Santorini’s black sand less as a party floor and more as the dining room of a very good restaurant that happens to reach the waterline. The house speciality is the whole arc of a day: a swim in the cobalt water, sushi under an umbrella, a Manhattan at the lounge while the sun drops, and dinner served while the same table picks up candlelight.

In our Santorini beach club directory we rank Seaside by Notos the busiest all day club on Perivolos, and this profile is the closer look at what that means in practice: a kitchen with an awards nomination to its name, beds nobody will quote a price for in public, and a clock that runs longer than any competitor on the strip.

The honest read

Sushi at noon, lanterns at midnight

The kitchen is the reason to choose this club over its neighbours. The menu calls itself cosmo Mediterranean, which translates on the plate to Aegean fish handled with restraint, a signature sushi list you would not expect twenty metres from a sunbed, and playful remixes of Greek standards backed by a cellar of Greek and European bottles. The World Luxury Restaurant Awards nomination is earned rather than ornamental. The party trick, and it is a good one, is the boat on the sand set as a dining table, so lunch arrives with the sea at your ankles.

The hours reward staying. At noon the beds fill with a crowd that reads more linen than logo, the soundtrack sitting at deep lounge volumes that let conversation survive. By late afternoon the lounge takes over, shaking the Martinis, Bellinis and Manhattans the bar names as its house calls, and the sunset crowd drifts in from the sand. After dark the candles and lanterns come out and the place runs until midnight, which no other club on this strip attempts with the same commitment. The same polish makes it a favourite stage for weddings and private events, worth checking against your date in peak season.

The honest deductions are two. First, the money is opaque: no bed rate, no cabana rate and no minimum spend appear anywhere in public, and a club this polished on Santorini will not be cheap, so get your number in writing before you commit a group to it. Second, it is genuinely the busy option, the strip’s biggest name drawing steady traffic from June through September, and anyone wanting an empty stretch of black sand should look further down the beach or at a quieter cove entirely.

Club lounges along the Perivolos strip

Perivolos is the longest run of sand on Santorini, volcanic ash ground to a dark grain that turns hot enough by afternoon to make sandals a serious recommendation. The water deepens quickly and holds that saturated cobalt the caldera postcards promise, and the beach keeps going south past the clubs into emptier, wilder stretches at Agios Georgios. Our full Perivolos beach guide covers the swimming, the strip and where the crowds thin out.

Getting there and booking

The road south and the rate in writing

The club sits about 20 minutes by car from Fira on the southeast coast, with parking behind the beach strip. Without wheels, ride the bus to Perissa and walk south along the sand, a flat stroll with the sea for company. Taxis and arranged transfers do the run constantly in summer, and coming from Oia allow closer to 40 minutes.

Booking is unusually well plumbed for a beach club: the reservation engine linked from the club’s site handles tables, the email and phone lines take the rest, and the beach beds appear on the Plazz platform too. What none of them show is a price list. If you want the whole day set up with the rate confirmed before you arrive, tell us your date and party size below and we will put the question to Seaside by Notos directly, beds, cabana or the boat table, and send you the answer in writing. It costs nothing.

Good questions

Before you go

How do you book a bed or a table at Seaside by Notos?

The club runs its own online reservation engine linked from seasidesantorini.com, takes email requests on reservations@seasidesantorini.com and answers the phone on +30 22860 82801. Its beach beds are also listed on the Plazz booking platform. In July and August book days ahead, the club is one of the busiest on Perivolos.

What are the opening hours of Seaside by Notos?

In season the club runs daily from 12:00 to 00:00, which makes it one of the few places on Perivolos where a lunch can legitimately turn into a candlelit dinner without anyone moving. The season runs roughly May to October, with the exact 2026 opening and closing dates unpublished.

How much does a daybed cost at Seaside by Notos?

No tariff is published anywhere, not on the club’s site and not on the booking platforms that list it, so every figure you hear secondhand should be treated with suspicion. We mark all bed, cabana and minimum spend numbers as to be confirmed, and the reliable move is to request the rate for your specific date in writing when you book.

Is there a dress code at Seaside by Notos?

Nothing formal is published by the club. Independent listings describe the style as Mediterranean white, which is guidance about the crowd rather than a rule at the door: linen and swimwear by day, something sharper for a dinner table by the water.

Which beach is Seaside by Notos on and how do you get there?

The club sits on the black sand where Perivolos runs into Agios Georgios on the southeast coast of Santorini, about 20 minutes by car from Fira. The bus to Perissa plus a walk south along the sand also works, and there is parking behind the beach strip.
