Kamenovo is the bright one. Tucked over the headland east of Becici and Rafailovici, it is a compact bay of clean white pebbles where the water turns a clear turquoise that the sandier beaches up the coast cannot match. Come at first light and it is glassy and quiet, a small piece of Adriatic clarity that rewards a mask and a slow swim along the rocky edges where the fish hold.
Then the bay changes character. By mid morning the Kamenovo Beach Club has the music up and the loungers full, and the watersports crew is running jet ski, banana and parasail rides off the shore. The afternoon breeze that often comes through is the cue, that is when the bay is built for being on the water rather than in it. It is a genuinely fun, active scene, and if that is your day you will love it.
The honest part is the size and the volume. This is a small bay with a loud heart, and in July and August it packs out and the club soundtrack carries across the whole place. There is nothing wrong with that if you came for it. If you did not, the move is simple, take the clear early hours for the swim and snorkel, then walk back over to Becici for a calmer, longer sand beach when Kamenovo fills.
Kamenovo Beach Club owns the bay scene, with the glamorous Dukley lounges a short way west at Zavala for a more polished club day.
The named venue on the bay, a livelier club with music, loungers and watersports through the day that draws a younger riviera crowd. Reserve a bed for high summer weekends. Rates and any minimum spend are to be confirmed.
A short way west on the Zavala peninsula, Dukley Beach Lounge is the glamorous all day club option, spread across several small beaches. The calmer, more polished alternative to the Kamenovo scene.
Kamenovo sits east of Becici and Rafailovici, a short taxi or local bus from Budva, or a longer coast walk over the headland from Becici. The small car park above the bay fills fast in summer, so arrive early or come on foot. Conditions are typical and never guaranteed.
Bring reef shoes for the pebbles and a mask for the clear water at the rocky edges. Take the early hours for the calm swim and snorkel, and save the watersports for the afternoon when the breeze comes through and the bay is built for being on the water.
Kamenovo runs from public pebbles to club loungers, so tell us your date and party and we will line up a bed or a beach club, from the lively Kamenovo Beach Club to the Dukley lounges along the bay. No charge to enquire.
Pebble. Kamenovo is a bay of clean white pebbles and shingle rather than sand, which is part of why the water reads so clear and turquoise. Reef shoes make the entry comfortable, and the clarity is the reward.

It is a watersports bay. The morning sea is calm and clear for snorkel and paddle, and the club end runs jet ski, banana and parasail style rides once the day warms. The afternoon breeze often picks up, which is the moment to be on the water rather than swimming.
It is small, so it fills fast. By late morning in July and August the pebbles and the club are busy and loud. The clear, calm water and the space are early in the day, before the crowd and the music build.
