Some beaches are famous for a building. Kamenovo is famous for a colour. The cove sits in a fold of limestone and maquis between Becici and Przno, and the water it holds reads an implausible Caribbean blue against the grey stone, which is why the operation that runs it never needed a grand pavilion: the architecture here is a bay. The organised beach, branded simply Kamenovo and run from the bar and restaurant at its heart, arranges its rows of loungers and Bali beds along 330 metres of golden sand and fine pebble and lets the sea do the design work.

Aesthetically, the smartest thing the operation ever did was restraint. There is no monumental clubhouse to compete with the cove, just the bar and restaurant low against the slope, ranks of loungers in ordered rows, and the water carrying the whole composition. The photographs do not lie about the colour, that blue is real and survives even a phone camera, but they lie about the texture: this is sand mixed with fine pebble, lovely underfoot but not the flour white powder the saturation suggests, and the frame that shows an empty cove was taken in May or October, not in the August the caption implies.

The rhythm of the day is the real product. Mornings belong to swimmers, and the reported advice for peak season is to arrive before 10am if you want a front row bed. By afternoon the bar’s DJ takes over the tempo, and the cove’s southwest orientation means it keeps its light long after neighbouring beaches go grey, the golden hour here is the longest show on the riviera. Evenings are the signature: a resident written 2026 guide names the Latin and salsa parties at the bar as the best on this coast, dancing on open sand as the sky goes orange toward Sveti Nikola island.

The shortfalls are structural and worth knowing. The published working day ends at 20h even when the bar programme runs on, so confirm any late plan directly. A lively cove five minutes from the Becici resort strip is never going to be private, and in high summer the free flanks fill wall to wall. And anyone expecting club theatre in the Ibiza sense, hosts, minimum spends, bottle parades, will find a simpler machine: beds, a bar, a grill and a bay, which is exactly the point.

The stylish arrival is on foot: a paved pedestrian tunnel cuts through the rock from Rafailovici and delivers you, in about ten flat minutes, straight onto the panorama, with fruit sellers in the passage as the traditional first stop. Drivers use the big, partly shaded lot behind the beach, reported at about 5 Euro for the day, and the coastal bus stops on the highway five minutes above the sand. Budva town is 5 km away, Sveti Stefan under 4 km.
