Who should skip what? Do not build a working stay around the remote coves. The Granadella near Javea and the wild Cala del Moraig are among the most beautiful spots on the coast, but they mean a drive, a walk down and little or no signal, so they are a poor place to try to live and work. Keep them for a day off when the laptop stays shut, and base yourself where the fibre, the cafes and the tram actually are. The best working base is rarely the prettiest cove.
