A short drive from town
Ferradura is a short drive of around ten minutes from the centre of Buzios, on the southern side of the peninsula. Most visitors reach it by car, taxi or a quick transfer, following the road toward the Ferradura neighbourhood and dropping down to the bay. There is parking near the beach, which fills quickly on summer weekends, so arriving earlier in the day is easier and gives you the calmer, quieter water too.
Bring sun cover and cash or a card for the kiosks, though you can travel light since chairs, umbrellas, food, drinks and watersports hire are all on the sand.
