If the blush matters to you, plan your visit around the softer hours and the difference will be obvious in person and in your photographs.

Many of the best pink beaches are protected reserves, especially Spiaggia Rosa on Budelli and parts of Elafonissi, where walking on fragile dunes or removing sand is restricted or banned outright.
