Now the honest part. This is Agia Marina, not a hidden cove: the beach behind you is a busy resort strip, and the club’s own polish draws a crowd that can outrun the staff at August peak, when recent reviews describe service that turns brisk and occasionally scattered. Night is a different animal altogether, themed parties and ticketed shows carry the deck long after dark, and the 2026 calendar leaned harder into headline bookings than any previous season. Agia Marina is one of the long, easy sands that run west from Chania toward Platanias, holding Blue Flag status and shelving gently into water that is typically clear and calm through summer mornings. It is a family resort beach at heart, tavernas and hotels at its back and a small offshore islet, Thodorou, holding the horizon. The free sand stretches generously beyond the club’s loungers in both directions, and the whole strip is walkable, so a day here can mix the club with the ordinary pleasures of a Greek resort shore. Cabana Mare fronts the beach side of the old coast road through Agia Marina village, roughly a quarter hour west of Chania by car and about half an hour from Chania airport. Local buses along the Chania to Platanias line stop in the village, which makes a carless visit entirely realistic.
