Marina Piccola sits on the south side of the island directly below Capri town. The walk down Via Mulo from the Piazzetta takes around fifteen to twenty minutes and is all downhill, with views opening over the coves and the Faraglioni as you drop. The catch is the climb back, so plan to take the small local bus or a taxi up once the sun has gone off the water.
Bring water shoes for the pebbles, a hat and your own water and snacks to keep the day cheap, and come early for the morning sun and the calmest sea.
